However, many un-professional marketers never really stop and take the time to really check out what “rights” they exactly have to sell their newly aquired products. Some may even be in complete violation of their purchased licence.

So, in this quick article below, I`m going to highlight the pros and cons of the 4 main types of “resell rights” and explain the differences in each.

Unrestricted Private Label Rights Licence (U-PLR)

These are the best rights you could ever possibly have.

It’s the ability to do whatever you want with the content with zero restrictions.

Not only can you re-edit and claim yourself as the author but you can also sell the

raw source code (which is usually the text in the form of a Word or text document) as is,

without editing.

You can also sell the product itself without editing.

You are able to give the content away as freebies and bonuses.

You are able to sell the content on auction sites and include them on both free and

paid membership sites and can sell them for whatever price you wish.

These types of rights usually look like this:

[YES] Can edit and put your name on it as the author

[YES] Can sell the Rights

[YES] Can be used as article content

[YES] Can be used as website content

[YES] Can be used for blog and auto responder content

[YES] Can be repackaged

[YES] Can sell the Master Resell Rights

[YES] Can sell The Private Label Rights

[YES] Can sell for whatever price you wish

[YES] Can sell the source code

[YES] Can sell on auction sites

[YES] Can be given away as bonuses

[YES] Can be repackaged

[YES] Can be offered on both free and paid membership sites

The only down side to products with unrestricted private label rights is that it’s

only a matter of time before they are floating everywhere online.

If you do have products with these types of rights the best thing you can do to avoid

the high competition with other resellers selling the same product as you is to

completely transform yours into a different product.

So having said that, fish through your treasure trove of resell rights goodies and

see what you have access to.

If you have private label rights or unrestricted private label rights you

basically have no limitations.

Private Label Rights Licence (PLR)

These are also good rights to get hold of.

These are more flexible in that you can alter the content and claim yourself as the author.

You are not bound by the same terms and conditions as the other resell rights and you’re not promoting

the original author but yourself.

There however may be some restrictions that come with private label rights and there may be stipulations

on how you can and can’t use the content, some examples may be:

You may not be able to sell the content on auction sites

You may only give the product for free if sold with a paid product

You must never sell the product below a certain price

You may not give the product away free or offer it on membership sites, etc.

Master Resell Rights Licence (MRR)

Unlike basic resell rights resellers have the ability to sell on the product and resell rights to

their customers where they in turn can sell them to theirs.

The business opportunity is usually the most appealing because customers know they can make money from it.

In most cases like basic resell rights, the product cannot be edited or altered in any way and must be

sold in the form it was purchased in.

Basic Resell Rights Licence (RR)

These are the weakest of the rights. You only have the right to sell to your products to your

immediate customer but they cannot in turn sell that product on to theirs.

These usually cannot be edited, altered or re-branded. Although the reseller gets to keep 100%

of the product sales these form of rights favor mostly the original author where their links go

everywhere their products are promoted giving them free viral marketing through the efforts of resellers.

Overview:

So, I hope this quick article helped you understand the differences between the various product “resell rights” ..and you resell products exactly as you have aquired the licence to do. Dont get labeled as a copyright thief .. and dont BLAGG..

To your success online.

Motivation and discipline usually go hand-in-hand because without motivation, it is nearly impossible to become disciplined. Ironically, once you become disciplined you rarely need to be motivated to keep your life running smoothly.
Discipline is a willingness and commitment to do what needs to be done. Without discipline, our lives would be in disarray. Think about the things you do on a daily or weekly basis that are required in order to maintain your life properly. Housework, laundry, grocery shopping, fueling and maintaining your vehicle, working, bathing, paying bills, balancing the checkbook, sleeping, and more are all required activities. Without them, what would your life look like?

If you already have a strong sense of discipline, you likely do these things without much thought. You know they must be done, so you just do them. On the other hand, if you lack discipline, you may find yourself procrastinating and putting your duties aside – which can create a colossal mess if it’s done too frequently.

Discipline is also required when you are working toward a goal. If you don’t complete the steps that will create the outcome you desire, you will not meet your objective. When you first set your goals, you may have strong motivation which can help you gain some valuable momentum.

However, ingrained habits and an undisciplined mind may eventually prevent you from establishing continuity; and without some kind of inner or outer motivation you are unlikely to develop the discipline you need.

In order to escape this stagnant cycle and develop a strong sense of self-discipline, you need to get and stay motivated! How can you do this? There are several ways, but here are few to begin with:

Focus on the benefits. With every task or chore you do, spend a few moments emphasizing the benefit you will receive from doing it. In order to get and stay motivated, it is crucial to have some sort of payoff in mind. Even if your payoff will come at a future time, remind yourself why this task or chore is a good thing.

See the big picture. Remember that this task is only one part of a larger puzzle. It’s hard to get inspired about scrubbing a toilet, until you envision your entire home clean and shining. By looking at the big picture, each little task will retain a measure of importance in your own mind.

Do it for the discipline. In order to develop strong discipline, you’ll need to keep strengthening your “discipline muscle” bit by bit. The only way to do this is by pushing yourself to do the things you have to do! As you complete each task related to your goal (or even your household chores) keep affirming that you are developing stronger and stronger discipline with each passing day. Eventually you’ll find yourself easily doing what needs to be done and it won’t be a struggle anymore – because you’ll already be disciplined!

Rainy weather in Ireland today.. so Im indoors writing this Article in front of warm fire !

OK So, here I go again with more SEO Stuff.. BOOORING! .. Think Again Matey..
Here are The [HOLY!] TEN Commandments for SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Forget EVERYTHING Else – This Is IT !
SEO Commandment 1: There are Absolutly No Rank Guarantees. (Period!)Search Engines alone control their indexing and their ranking algorithm. Do not try to trick the Search Engines. The only way to improve your search engine rank is by playing by their rules. And the main rule is very simple: make it logical. Web content is primarily for the site visitors and not google bots or crawlers. If your Search Engine Optimizer sold you a magic “Top rank on Google in 10 days flat”. Just Forget it. There are no short cuts here lad.. Top ranking in Search Engine Natural Results will take a bit of time. Hard work is imperative especially in developing your content on your website and the inbound links to your site.

SEO Commandment 2: Getting Ranked is Not the End, It’s the Means.. Ask yourself this question : what will a top search engine rank get you? Most businesses are interested in increasing sales on their website(s) or at the least driving qualified traffic there. Ranking for the right keywords (keywords used by your target audience) is very important. There are SEOs who will try to show case search results for keywords that occur only on your website. Beware of such gimmicks!!

SEO Commandment 3: Use A Search Engine Friendly Design. A search and visitor friendly design is a must for any website to be successful. Your website should be compelling enough for repeat visits by search engines and potential customers. Make sure you have search engine friendly URLs and avoid those long URLs with crazy query strings.. you know wot I mean :O)

SEO Commandment 4: Get to Know Your Competition. “Rank” is a relative position and more so in the Search Engines’ natural results. How well you will do in the search engine results is a factor of how much difficult work you have done in relation to your competition. Analyze your competition’s keywords, links, their keyword density and their spread, but be sure not to copy your competition.

SEO Commandment 5: Select the Keywords that are Worthy. You must research your keywords before attempt targeting. There are plenty of tools that can give you good ideas of a keyword’s search potential for example. It is very important to know the number of searches for a particular keyword in the last month, last 6 months and the last year. You should also try to find out the number of web pages that are targeting the keyword(s). It is highly advisable to start your campaign with keywords with moderate or little competition and a high number of searches!

SEO Commandment 6: Use A Good Hyper-Linking Strategy. Hyperlinks make your web content accessible and contextual. You must hyperlink in the right context within your website… and to other websites. Good links are appreciated by the Search Engines and by visitors too. No one likes to be taken to a mall selling a “Macintosh” when they were shopping for “wholesale apples”.

SEO Commandment 7: Write Great Content. GREAT Content is KING ! Even if your website is technically perfect for the search engine robots, it won’t do you any good unless you can also fill it with lotsa great content. “Great” means it has contextual and editorial value. Great content brings many repeat visits and really increases your chance of conversion. Great content is factual and appeals to your target audience(s). Your web page or Sales Copy should have your desired action embedded in the content and you must always ensure that the content is fresh and as Unique as possible. Keep adding and editing content regularly for optimal results.

SEO Commandment 8: Write Relevant and Original Meta Content. Meta-content is like your business card. Just as your business card tells people who you are and what you do, Meta content tells the search engines the relevance and context of your web page. Resist the temptation to include everything in the Meta content, but make it detailed as possible. Confused Yet? The main idea is to include only what is relevant to the page in the Meta Content but to include everything that is relevant.

SEO Commandment 9: Consult The SEO Experts, If You Need To ! If you have the competence, there are basically two ways to learn – learning from your mistakes and learning from others peoples experiences. You can choose either or eyether road ! If you have the time and you can afford to wait for the online dollars to arrive, then do it yourself. If you want to get started now, it may be useful to consult the experts.. and take out a loan… !! (

SEO Commandment 10: Linking Works too! The in-links that you acquire are the roads to your web page for search engine bots and visitors alike. Good links improve your webpage’s equity on the World-Wide-Web and bad links make a big dent in your equity and credibility. Be very selective in reciprocal linking. Both reciprocal and one way links work well, that is..if you are prudent in selecting those links. Only Submit your website to the relevant sections in relevant and related directories.
Thats My 10 SEO Commandments..

Have A great Day !

NEWS JUST IN ..!!

The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is preparing new guidelines about the kinds of disclosures bloggers and website owners should make when they endorse a product on their sites.

No question, the guidelines clearly apply to affiliate marketers who, if they have not done so before, may now have to let visitors or readers know when they are clicking on affiliate links.

As Peter Kafka recently wrote in his All Things Digital Media Memo column, the FTC has a legitimate concern about bloggers, reviewers and others not being transparent when it comes to promoting products or posting articles on a ‘pay-per-post’ basis.

But do affiliate marketers risk being caught in the FTC crossfire?

Will affiliate marketers now have to spell out to all and sundry that the links used in clearly promotional emails, reviews, blogs, etc are affiliate links?

From my reading of the FTC’s guidelines, it seems that affiliate marketers who are clearly promoting a given product will not be under an obligation to emphasize that a given link is an affiliate link.

Affiliate marketers who position themselves as authoritative experts giving objective advice or reviews will, however, need to disclose that they are affiliates for a given product.

Hurray.

Affiliates claiming to be objective and independent when they have a stake in a sale… and who don’t disclose that stake… are just plain misleading people. Why they do this, I don’t know, as it really doesn’t do much for their credibility.

In fact, various Internet marketers cottoned on to this some time ago – that’s why you often see them disclosing the fact that they’re affiliates. They tend to weave this into their sales pitch – usually along the lines of “yes I’m an affiliate but here’s why I really think you should get this product.”

But what about article marketers who write articles and include an affiliate link in their author box or bio? Do they also have to include somewhere that a given link is an affiliate link?

For example, if someone writes an article about how to care for parrots and then an affiliate link to parrot food is included in their author box… do they need to tell readers that their affiliate link is an affiliate link?

It probably depends on how the author box is written but I’d suggest that an author box written along the lines of ‘Arthur Brown breeds parrots and recommends Pots Parrot Food’ might be problematic.

Under the FTC’s proposed guidelines, it might be necessary to say instead that ‘Arthur Brown breeds parrots and is an affiliate for Pots Parrot Food’ or something similar that makes it clear that there’s an incentive for Arthur to make such a ‘recommendation.’

You can see, however, how tricky this might be.

And clunky. After all, saying ‘I am an affiliate’ and ‘this is an affiliate link’ in every email or review might get tiresome for both marketers and their audiences. And is it necessary for marketers who are clearly sending out promotional emails to tell people that they’re an affiliate?

One solution may be to use some kind of heading or notation somewhere that makes it clear that you are an affiliate or promoting something as an affiliate. For example, you’ll notice that in the Kikabink News email newsletter we’re now using the word ‘ADVERTISEMENT’ at the top of any affiliate offer or ad to make it clear that the item is an affiliate promotion or an advertisement (as the case may be).

But this may not work for everyone in every circumstance. Again, I’m thinking of the Internet marketer who pounds his or her list with affiliate promotions every day. Whether or not you appreciate the barrage of promotions… you know they are affiliate promotions without the marketer having to spell it out for you. Or am I assuming too much?

I am the first person to applaud the FTC for clamping down on affiliates who position themselves as objective when they are as subjective as it gets. But hopefully sane minds will prevail and affiliate marketers who are, by common sense standards, not misleading anyone will not be caught in the crossfire.

Bottom line: the FTC has Internet marketers in its sights, so we ALL better be prepared !!!!!

Here is the FTC’s Guide Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials.

Article Source: Peter Kafka, “Adding an Amazon or Apple Affiliate Link to Your Blog? The Feds Want to Know,” MediaMemo, All Things Digital, June 22, 2009

UPDATE:

On another note – are your websites or blogs compliant with current FTC legislation ? Do you have a privacy policy, terms of service, disclaimer, contact address etc etc… If not – get working on it.. or face heavy penalties.. Im currently putting together 6 free templates / forms that you can customise to your own “name” and upoload to your site.. they will be available in a few days time in my VIP members area for Free download.. I dont wannna see you guys & gals get FTC slapped.. if your not currently on my VIP subscriber list .. you can grab an access code by signing up to my newsletter on the top of this page…

PS – I wouls appreciate a ReTweet on this post as it is quite important our friends in the IM world know about this ASAP … and they will thank you too!

PPS – UPDATE: Internet marketing expert Jim Edwards did a recent in-dept webinar with a leading FTC official, Rich Cleland.. I highly recommend you check it out here…

Why Do I use AWeber Autoresponders ?
In a nutshell there were 2 main reasons why I choose AWeber Autoresponders to run my email marketing, newsletters and general automation of my sites.
I was using a combination of other services and was being overcharged so I wanted a cheaper option.
I had heard good things about another autoresponder called AWeber and I noticed many of the newsletters I signed up for from other professional Internet marketers seem to be using AWeber mailing lists. The “street cred” was good.

As usual I did some due diligence first and looked around forums to see what people were saying about AWeber and it was very hard to find a negative comment. Most of it was glaringly positive, in fact it felt in most cases that AWeber was the de facto standard email autoresponder, which only happens when a product keeps its customers very happy.

#1 Reason. – Email Deliverability is fantastic !
I have no way of proving this, but since I read it in many places from different sources, I’ll mention it here. There is a big concern in email marketing circles about mail deliverability, which refers to whether emails sent (broadcast) to your lists make it through. The problem is a lot of mail servers block mass emails sent out and unless the email responder service provider has pre-arranged to be whitelisted your mail won’t get through. That’s pretty detrimental to any online company.
AWeber has the enviable record of the highest percentage of email deliverability, which means AWeber is doing a pretty good job to make sure your emails make it to your customers. This fact alone is enough of a reason to choose AWeber.com.

#2 Reason. – Full Featured Functions !
I won’t lie to you, there is a learning curve to using an email autoresponder, but you will find that with any system and you just have to learn your way through. I find AWeber’s system a lot less clunky than Marketers Choice. It’s simple in design with all the core features available through tabs at the top. It took me about an hour of playing with the system to get the hang of it.
One feature that’s not available that I would like to see is a one click back-up of all your mailing lists. I’ve emailed the support crew and it’s apparently on their to-do list, but for the moment backing up is a painfully slow manual process with lots of clicks.
One of the best features is when someone unsubscribes for one of your lists. Yes this is not a good thing but what makes it a good thing is that they are given the opportunity to leave a comment telling you why they choose to leave your list. As a business owner I’m sure you know how valuable feedback like this can be. It’s so nice to know why someone doesn’t find what you do satisfactory and often leads to some big improvements in what you do simply because you didn’t realize there was a problem until someone told you about it.

How I Use AWeber
Currently I use AWeber for all my online promotions and it controls all my email lists. I use it to distribute Free Reports and the newsletter here at JamieDunne.com, which collects the email address of any person who downloads my free reports and I then keep in contact with a series of autoresponse emails. I also collect the details of anyone who submits the contact form at all of my other sites and of course of all clients that register to use services in the FasForward Network.
Along with the Twitter API, AWeber is the system behind my latest project, ReTweetNow.com. AWeber allows me to distribute my twitter traffic tips & other newsletters to all my subscribers on a week-by-week basis and I can do once-off broadcasts whenever I need to.
A new feature AWeber recently implemented is an RSS-to-email service. This service is very helpful because I can create an email mailing list for people who want to stay up to date with my blogs via email. I just plug in my RSS feed, tell AWeber how many blog articles to send out in each broadcast and it will automatically control the mailing list.

Unlike other inferior services, Aweber is not branded either and I have complete control over the presentation of the broadcast emails which makes it superior to almost all the other RSS to email services out there.
I also have various other small lists to keep in touch with certain groups. It makes it a lot easier to control your email contacts. From a sales point of view it’s a very powerful resource because it keeps you connected with your prospects and clients.
How Technical Is AWeber? Hmmm
It took me only about 1-2 hours collectively to master AWeber. I’m not a bigtime programmer but I am very fluent in HTML and online business. AWeber has been built to be as “cut and paste” as possible and you certainly do not need to know HTML to implement it. Most of the interface is simple forms you fill out and once you have a play you will understand how everything works.Of course there is a very good helpdesk and live support if you need it.

TIP: Always look for this when purchasing any product or service online. Probably the most important tip ever!
If you are not familiar with web basics like online forms you may need a little help. Read through the instructional materials now and then until you get the hang of it – I did a few times when I first started using the system.

Pricing .. whats it cost?
You can find AWeber’s pricing breakdown here. Since I already knew I was going to use my email lists extensively in the future I chose the yearly option (recommended) with the heaviest discount (it works out to be only$15USD per month) … thats about €9.97 per month. There is a money back guarantee so if I didn’t like the service I knew I could get a refund. )

..of course … 3 years later … I still using Aweber as the system behind my $ystem ;o)
Choosing A Quality Email Autoresponder is Smart..
I don’t think of email autoresponders as the most complex programs yet they are indeed a vital tool for successful online business owners, marketers and affiliates. The main considerations for me are email deliverability, reputation and ease of use – AWeber satisfies me on all counts.
I recommend before choosing an autoresponder you do your own due diligence and read forums and ask for opinions from current customers. Narrow down your list of potential providers based on your most important criteria and then test one out. Remember making a purchase NEVER locks you in, most online companies offer 30 day money back guarantees (just make sure there is one before buying).

Over All … My experience with Aweber has been nothing short of Fantastic..

I highly recommend Aweber to all my visitors, subscribers & customers. The best way to get started with Aweber is to complete the “Risk Free Test Drive” form below, then follow the links & watch the free videos that Aweber will send you ! Or if you wanna do yourself a favor – just go ahead and get your sneaky 1 month risk free trial here.. http://1monthfreetrial.aweber.com
